Marshall Wayne Corum

Marshall Wayne Corum, 86 of Henderson, KY went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday March 7, 2018 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Marshall “Grand-daddy” Corum was born on June 12, 1931 in Madisonville, KY. He proudly served his country and was a Korean War Veteran. On November 2, 1953 he married the love of his life the former Jane Norvell of Sebree, KY. Marshall worked as a truck driver until retiring. After retirement, his favorite place to be was Payne’s Gym, where he enjoyed helping his son, Steve Corum with the business. He enjoyed fishing anytime he got the chance, but more than anything loved spending time with his family. Marshall is survived by his three children, Susan Dixon, Michael Corum and wife Karen, and Stephen Corum and wife Lindsay all of Henderson and 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Jane Novell Corum in 2011. Relatives and friends are invited to Marshall’s Life Celebration from 2:00 PM-6:00 PM, Sunday, March 11 and again on Monday, March 12 from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday with Dr. Bob Hardison officiating. Burial will follow at Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Worsham Post #40 Burial Detail. Pallbearers will be Richard Norvell, Jonathan Dixon, Neal Risley, Zach Corum, Noah Corum and Tony Todd.
