Martha Jean Buckman

Martha Jean (Harrington) Buckman, 87, of Henderson, KY passed away on January 29, 2017 at Lucy Smith King Care Center. She retired from Gibbs Die Casting and Golden Gaze Bakery, loved watching UK wildcats play basketball, playing cards, crocheting, and cooking. She is preceded in death by her parents William and Ola (Ginger) Harrington; her husband William E. Buckman; brother Ralph Harrington, and grandson Daryl Oglesby. She is survived by 3 children: Gladys (Charles) Nobles, Larry (Donna) Buckman, and Carl (Louise) Buckman all of Henderson, KY; 4 granddaughters: Cheryl McGovern, Michelle Heath, Kelly Blanford, and Phyllis Nobles; 11 Great-Grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Febuary 1, 2017 at 1:00PM with Bro Keith Griffin officiating at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Pallbearers will be Cheryl McGovern, Michelle Heath, Kelly Blanford, Phyllis Nobles, Dylan Burton and Will Blanford. Honorary pallbearers will be the great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 5:00PM-8:00PM and Wednesday 11:00AM-1:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Louis Cemetery in Henderson.
