Martha Gayle Brown

Martha Gayle (Haire) Brown, 77, of Henderson, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Redbanks Skilled Nursing Facility under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.

Martha was a long-time member of Mt. Zion General Baptist Church.

Martha was born on August 13, 1947, to the late William and Margaret (Beals) Haire.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Proctor; brothers, Oti’s “Bud” Haire, Charles Haire, Richard “Gene” Haire; son, Jeff Brown; and daughter in law, Stacie Brown.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Brown; two brothers; J.W. Haire (Doris) of Central City, Roy Haire(Vicki) of Reed Ky; two sisters Myrna Thomason of Missouri, Kathy Morris (Roger) of Henderson, Ky; three grandchildren, Shasta Speaks (Lance), Cameron Brown (Tasha), Whitney Wilson (Justin); three great grandsons, Declan Speaks, Judson Wilson, and Jonah Wilson; two great granddaughters, Finley Speaks and Evelyn Wilson.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday March 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Burial will be held at Mt Zion General Baptist Church Cemetery in Reed, KY,

Visitation will be held on Saturday 10:00 AM until service time.
