Marvin Miles

Marvin Leroy Miles, 80, of Henderson, KY was loved into Heaven on October 13, 2025, surrounded by family and in the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice at Redbanks Nursing Home.

Marvin was born on September 19, 1945, to James Cosby Miles and Ruby Johnson Miles, both of whom preceded him in death.

Marvin was formerly a school bus driver for Henderson County School District, a former manager of S&W Rack, and an employee of Alles Bros. Furniture Store.

Marvin was a fan of University of Kentucky sports, especially basketball and football, and the New York Yankees. He thoroughly enjoyed playing golf at the Henderson Country Club for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Miles, daughter Angela Morris (Randy), son James “Tony” Miles (Jennie), stepsons Seth Woodard, Logan Woodard (Mary), and step daughter Carrie McCollom (Royden); seven grandchildren, Alec Peters (Mazie), Kaylin Miles, Aiden Miles, Reese McCollom, Leo McCollom, Saylor McCollom and Holden Woodard; and brother, Danny Miles (Brenda). He is survived by cousins and many friends.

Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel, is in charge of arrangements with visitation on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 3 – 7 pm. Visitation from 9 -10 on the morning of October 17, 2025, with the funeral at 10 am,

Pallbearers are Tony Miles, Seth Woodard, Logan Woodard, Alec Peters, Royden McCollom, and Jason Wallace.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Anthony’s Hospice in memory of Marvin.
