Marvin J. Warren, 90 of Slaughters, KY, died Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. He was a member of Slaughters Baptist Church where he served on many committees and also a member of the Slaughters Masonic Lodge. He retired from Texas Gas. He was born October 17, 1925 to Oscar and Jimmie (Foster) Warren in Hanson, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Lucille Warren. He is survived by his wife Sue (Crowley) Warren of Slaughters, KY. 4 Children: Judy Melton (Eddie) of Odon, IN Larry Warren (Vicky) of Manitou, KY Patsy Owen (Steve) of Phoenix, AZ David Warren (Mary) of Dixon, KY 2 Sisters: Ann Nelson (Ken) of Louisville, KY Helen Clayton (Dahl) of Central City, KY 1 Brother: Sam Warren (Freda) of Central City, KY10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Service will be Sunday July 17 at 2:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel with Brother Andrew Sexton officiating. Burial will be in Slaughters Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, July 16 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home and on Sunday from 1:00 until service time. Pallbearers are Mark Melton, Brett Melton, Chase Warren, Trevar Warren, Steve Melton, John Melton, and Scott Owen. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Duncan and Jake Roberts.
