Mary Katherine Ashby

Mary Katherine Ashby, 99, formaly of Onton passed away at her home May 4, 2011 at 7:05 AM. Born in Webster County to Sumner Lee and Etta Roland on January 1, 1912. She was a member of Onton United Methodist Church for 84 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years D.W. Ashby, tow infant sons, Ross and Jerry Ashby, grandson Christopher T. Ashby, three brothers R.L. Roland, John Roland, and Evan Chandler, three sisters Nancy Wright, Orrye Mahurin and Cleo Batts. Survivors include tow daughters, Patricia A. Ashby and Marsha J. Cates and husband Don, one granddaughter Lori A. Priest and husband Neal and two great- grandchildren Kally and River Priest all of Henderson, two step grandchildren Beth Lawson of Louisville and Paul Cates of Henderson and two g=caregivers Tina Weyerbacher and Charlotte Edwards. Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday May 6 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with Rev. Ted burke officiating. Burial will be in Onton Cemetery in Onton, KY in webster county. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 PM Thursday May 5 and after 10:00 AM Friday May 6. Expression of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Onton United Methodist Church 51 Wrightsburg Rd.
