Mary Lois Burgess

Mary Lois Blake Burgess, 89, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Linda E. White Hospice Center in Evansville, IN.

Mary was born July 22, 1933 in London, KY to the late William and Myrtle Hibbard. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Doris Blake, second husband, Ralph Burgess; 7 brothers, 3 sisters and grandson, James Blake.

Mary is survived by her children, Kenneth Blake of Henderson, KY, Roger Blake of Henderson, KY, Jimmy Blake of Henderson, KY, Linda Sheppard of Henderson, KY, Beverly Boksa of Evansville, IN; 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 6, 2023, 1:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel with Pastor Steve Custer officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 6, 2023, 10:00 AM until funeral hour.
