Mary Margaret Killman

Mary Margaret (Swain) Killman, 80, of Henderson passed away Monday November 23, 2015 at 11:14 AM at her home under the care of St. Anthonys Hospice and surrounded by her family. She was born in Henderson on December 17, 1934 to James Isaac and Blanche Carolyn (Smither) Swain. Margaret was a program assistant at Henderson Community College and a member of Apostolic Bread of Life Church. She loved her family, church, family, friends and life. She was a church secretary at Apostolic Bread of Life for 21 years. Her hobbies included walking and playing scrabble. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Amanda Mattingly, 2 brothers: Jimmy Swain and Wiley Swain and 1 grandson: Charles Overfield. Survivors include her husband of 50 years Douglas Killman 1 son: Isaac Overfield and wife Margaret of Henderson4 daughters: Candace Skalla and husband Tim of Niles, Michigan Julie Spurlin and husband Lonnie of Henderson Kimberly Claiborne and husband Roger of Seymour, TN Ramona Peercy and husband Dewayne of Henderson 1 Sister: Loretta Moers of Evansville13 Grandchildren7 Great-grandchildren Nieces and Nephews Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday November 25, 2015 at Apostolic Bread of Life Church. Rev. Vernon Rigsby will officiate with Rev. Phil Wagoner. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday 3-8PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel and Wednesday 10:00 AM until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Nicolas Spurlin, Justin Westerman, Jason Overfield, Preston Peercy, Tommy Weber and Mike Hawk. Expressions of sympathy may the form of contributions to Apostolic Bread of Life Church Building Fund.
