Mary Lou Patterson

Mary Lou Patterson, 70, of Corydon, passed away Monday, February 12, 2024 at home.

She was born in Henderson on November 18, 1953 to the late Rufus and Virginia (Stone) Gibson.

Mary had worked as a retail manager and enjoyed being outside on her swing. She loved helping others, but especially loved her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Martin and brothers, William Grant and Charlie Gibson.

Survivors include her children, Martie Vanhooser (Ralph) of Henderson and Terry Patterson of Corydon; three grandchildren, Dylan Stone (Kaitlyn), Taylor Stone (Brandon), and Bryce Schaeffer (Lily), all of Henderson; four great grandchildren, Bryleigh Stone, Elizabeth Vance, Olivia Vance, and Madelyn Vance; nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 24, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday, February 24 from 10 a.m. until service time.
