Mary Christine Merrell Mary Christine Merrell age 79 of Evansville, IN passed away at 10:55 p.m.Monday 05-03-10 at the Heritage Center in Evansville, IN. May she rest in peace. She was born March 15, 1931 in Earlington, KY to Marvin and Annie Hogan Huddleston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lee Roy Merrell in 2005, one son Brian Merrell, seven sisters and four brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Sandy Smith of Evansville, IN and Scherrie Merrell of Rock Hill, NC, two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the many loving staff at the Heritage Center and her dear friend Janie Rattcliff. Her funeral will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday 05-08-10 at Reid-Walters Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Tucker officiating. Her Burial will be in Old Salem Cemetery in Mortons Gap, KY. Her visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the service time Saturday.
