Mary Jane Schaeffer

Mary Jane (McDonald) Schaeffer, 66, of Henderson, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Methodist Hospital. She was born in Henderson on May 23, 1953 to the late Thomas and Crystal (Skaggs) McDonald. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert McDonald and Wilson McDonald and grandson, Shane Michael West. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Burton and husband, Robert, Michael West, Derek West and wife, Mandy and Sabrina West, all of Reed; siblings, Lawrence McDonald, Thomas “Sugg” McDonald (Elaine), Patricia Scott, Brenda Kessinger, Virginia Scott and Teresa Surovey; grandchildren, Michael Lee West, Page West, Kaitlyn Burton, Thomas Burton, Dakota West, Kortnie West, Whitnie West, Mason Ivie, Madison Bean and Mallory Oliver; and Richard Schaeffer. Funeral service will be on Friday, November 15 at 1 p.m. at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Chaplain Tim Shockley officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Reed. Visitation will be on Friday, November 15 from 10:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home. Paul bearers will be Thomas Burton, Dakota West, Mason Ivie, Robert Burton, Michael Lee West, Derek West and Michael Shane West.
