Mary "Wendy" Sherman

Mary “Wendy” Sherman 76, of Henderson passed away Thursday November 23, 2023, at her home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Henderson to the late Robert and Mary (Driskell) Lacer.

Wendy was a member of New Beginnings Church in Spottsville Kentucky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Peggy Christison, Judy Varble and Robert “Buck” Lacer.

Wendy is survived by her loving husband Tom Sherman; her children Karen Lee Sherman and Jeffrey W Carter (Jenny); siblings Darlene Smithhart (Butch), Darrell L. Lacer (Yvette) and Dwayne Lacer (Rana); grandchildren Caitlin Carter (Arron Markham), Jon Carter (Brittany); great grandchildren Jax, Sydni, Greyson, and Parker; sister-in-law Vickie Lacer Riley and her brother-in-law Elbridge Christison.

A Memorial service will be 5:00 PM Tuesday November 28, 2023, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Pastor Don Haire Jr. officiating.

Visitation will be 3:00 PM until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
