Maxine Woods

Maxine (McCurry) Woods, 91 of Sebree, KY passed away at 6:30 PM Saturday March 7, 2009 at her home. She was born February 13, 1918 in Onton, KY to the late K.J. and Lula Curtis (Ezell) McCurry. She was a member of the Sebree United Methodist Church and the Sebree Chapter of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant son, daughter; Tommy Ann Rosenweig, three sisters; Belva Knight, Bernice Walker and her twin sister, Martine Wise who passed away on February 8, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, L. Thomas Woods of Sebree, KY 2 daughters; Linda Hazelwood of Sebree, KY Lisa and husband Randy Nance of Hanson, KY Son-in-law; Lee Rosenweig of Jensen Beach, FL 6 grandchildren; Kevin Hazelwood of Sebree, KY Shanna Wood of Sebree, KY Robin McClellen of Kenneth, MO Allison Rosenweig of Manhatten Beach, CA Hillary Nance of Bowling Green, KY Laura Nance of Hanson, KY 7 great Grandchildren several nieces and nephews Services will be held Wednesday March 11, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Pastor Larry Platt will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 and Wednesday 9:00 am until service time at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice or Sebree United Methodist Church.
