Melissa “Lisa” (Woods) Lee, 34, passed away 10:39 PM Tuesday September 11, 2012 in Nashville, TN. She was born in Hopkins County, Kentucky January 16, 1978 to Harvey Leon Woods and Kathy Lynne (Gunther) Bean Ford. She was of the Baptist faith and was a CNA at the Western KY Veterans Center in Hanson for several years. She was preceded in death by her maternal Grandmother Alma Gunther, maternal Grandfather Kelly Lofton Gunther, paternal Grandfather Donald Pryor, Paternal Grandfather Turner Woods, Uncle William Thomas “Kelly” Gunther. She is survived by: 2 children: Kristen Lee of Madisonville, KY Brandon Lee of Madisonville, KY Her mother Kathy (Gunther) Bean Ford and her husband Jay of Bremen, KY Her father Harvey Woods and his fiancé Linda Sharp of Madisonville, KY Her Grandmother: Martha Pryor of Madisonville, KY 2 sisters: Sara Woods of Madisonville, KY Krystal Woods of Madisonville, KY Step-brother: Kevin Ford of Ft. Wayne, IN Step-sister: Melissa Pulliman of Madisonville, KY Special Friend: Donald Devylder of Madisonville, KY Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, nephews and nieces Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday September 16, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel with Bro. Darrell Menser officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery in Hanson. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 PM Saturday September 15, 2012 and 11:00 AM-2:00 PM Sunday September 16, 2012 at the funeral home.
