Melody Renee Overton

Melody Renee Overton, 51, of Henderson, Kentucky passed away peacefully at her home on May 7, 2025, under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice and surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Evansville, IN on April 21, 1974.

She worked as an assistant manager at Taco Bell. Melody was a woman of deep faith and attended One Life Church. She loved spending time with her family, going out with friends, attending concerts and cruises, and especially enjoyed listening to music. Her joyful spirit and warm personality brought light to every room she entered.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Laster and her son, Bradley Randall.

Melody is survived by her children, Martin Overton, Dalton Overton, Danielle Gentry (Paul), Hannah White, Tatum Leslie and Isabella Randall; grandson, Braxton Gentry; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, May 9 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Gary Lanham officiating.

Pallbearers will be Martin Overton, Paul Gentry, Anthony Hudnall, Kaydin Ganno, Daniel Ganno and Michael Graziani.
