Melvin Jewell Brown, 68 of Henderson passed away at Deaconess Hospital May 22, 2014. He was born on September 2, 1945 at 3:05 AM in Henderson to William Elbert and Elnora L. (Holmes) Brown. Melvin was of the Christian faith and was a Disciple of Jesus. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister Melissa Maria Stanley Brother: Larry Brown both of Henderson 5 nephews: Matthew Adams Joshua Stanley Brandon Stanley Dwayne Brown Shawn Brown 1 niece: Dana Oliver Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday May 24 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Reverend Darrell Powell will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Evansville, IN Visitation will be 10:00 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Matthew Adams, Brandon Stanley, Bobby Oliver, Shawn Brown, Jody Hall and John McCormick.
