Melvin Riley

Melvin E. Riley, born on February 3, 1953, in Evansville, Indiana, passed away on January 13, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Robinette (Morse) Oliver, his son Micky Riley, and two grandchildren, Angel and Brayden Riley. Melvin is survived by his children Melanie Ruiz (Manuel), Tara Riley, Bobby Riley (Danielle Skaggs), and Misty Vaughn. He is also survived by his siblings, Barbara Riley, Ronnie Oliver, Steve Oliver, Deborah Oliver, and Kevin Oliver and 10 grandchildren.

Melvin attended Finnely Baptist Church and found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often spending time outside watching cars go by. His presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree, with visitation beginning at 4:00 PM until the time of service.
