Melvin Lynn Stone, Sr., 70 of Henderson passed away Tuesday September 22, 2015 at at his home. He was born in Henderson County on April 15, 1945 to Melvin Grant and Ruby (Cusic) Stone. He was a charter member and past president and vice president of Old Tin Street Rods. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sherry M. (Mabrey) Stone. Survivors include 1 son: Melvin “Mel” Stone, Jr. of Henderson 1 Daughter: Karen Busby and husband Jeff of Henderson 2 Sisters: Sheila Ralph and husband Jerry of Henderson Theresa Richey and husband Robert of Henderson 1 Brother: Donald Stone and wife Gloria of Henderson 4 Grandchildren: Jacob Busby, Jared Stone, Courtney Stone and Kayley Stone Nieces and Nephews Services will be 1:00 PM Friday September 25, 2015 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Pastor Jason Cowan will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
