Michael Gordon Critser

Michael Gordon Critser,78, of Henderson passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.  He was born in Henderson on October 27, 1942 to the late Gordon and Vernita (Jones) Critser.  Michael proudly served in the Navy on the USS Independence and was of the Christian faith. He was a shipping supervisor at Eaton Axle/Dana and a member of the Moose Lodge. In his earlier days, Michael loved to fish and enjoyed playing golf.  He was a UK Basketball fan, enjoyed his weekends at home spending time with family and friends and watching western movies.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Gayle Timmons and daughter Jennifer “Jenny” Critser Darnell.  Survivors include his wife Judy Critser, 6 children Michael Wayne Critser (Catherine) of Bonneau, South Carolina, Kimberly Tucker (John) of Papillion, Nebraska, Tom Wallace of New York, Terri Martin of Henderson, Mikey Critser (Jami) of Evansville, Seth Alan of Henderson, 3 brothers Gary Critser (Charlotte) of Signle Mountain, TN, David Critser (Kathy) of Henderson, Steve Critser (Charlotte) of Little Dixie, son-in-law Tim Darnell, 13 Grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.    Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with Bro. Bret Eblen officiating.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Friday, February 26 from 3-7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., both at the funeral home.  Pallbearers will be Logan Darnell, Wesley Martin, Mikey Critser, Lance  Critser, Seth Alan Critser, and Tim Darnell.
