Michael Van Duncan

Michael Van Duncan, 68, of Henderson, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh. He was born in Hopkins County on January 28, 1953 to the late Herschel V. and Joy M. (Adams) Duncan. He was a retired tanker truck driver from Brenntag Mid-South in Henderson. Mike loved his family and was very giving. He loved riding his motorcycle, sitting on his porch talking with friends, joking and cutting up. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Jimmy Duncan, Shirley Duncan, Jack Duncan, and Diane Gibson. He is survived by the love of his life for 15 years, Sandy Bowling; beloved boys, Jason Haynes (Kelly) of Spottsville and Nick Haynes (Jamie) of Owensboro; beloved siblings, Linda McChesney of Providence, KY, Pam Lokey (Billy Gene) of Woodbury, TN, Johnny Duncan of Woodbury, TN, Kevin Duncan (Sharon) of Woodbury, TN, Keith Duncan (Theresa) of Murfreesboro, TN, Nancy Duncan of Spencer, TN, Junior McVay of Woodbury, TN, and Loretta Pittard (Toby) of Woodbury, TN; five grandchildren, Logan Haynes, Weston Haynes, Madison McDaniel, Lincoln McDaniel, and Ella Haynes; one great granddaughter, Kenleigh Haynes; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson is entrusted with arrangements.
