Michael "Mike" "Poppy" Hope

Michael Linden Hope “Mike” “Poppy”, 63 of Henderson passed away unexpectantly July 6, 2022, in Henderson. Michael was born in Henderson to the late Floyd and Hattie Hope. He was preceded in death by his parents. Michael retired from Union Local #561 and after retirement took over his father’s mowing service. He survived by his loving wife of 26 years Charity Hope; his children Wesley Hope, Ashley Kellen (Kurt), Abbey Church (Isaac), Corey Hope, Jayden Hope, Brandon Townsend and Tyler Townsend; his siblings Brenda Duncan (Eddie), Vicki Alvey (Ronnie) and Steve Hope (Karen); his sister-in law Stephanie Hoffman; 10 Grandchildren and his nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 12:00 PM Wednesday July 13, 2022, at Fernwood Cemetery with Brother Jack Ross officiating. After the graveside, please join us at the Lumber Yard (beside Fire Dome Pizza) for a bereavement meal to share in memories and fellowship.
