Michael "Mike" Lee Griffee

Michael “Mike” Lee Griffee, 67, of Henderson, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Select Specialty in Evansville, IN.

Mike was born September 21, 1957, in Louisville, KY, to Arnold Griffee and the late Mary Jo (Newton) Griffee. He worked as a mechanic and loved to play guitar and write songs.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jo (Newton) Griffee.

Mike is survived by his parents, Arnold and Cheryl Griffee of Henderson; two children, Shannon Morphett of Henderson and Maggie Denton (Thomas) of Sebree; two sisters, Joanie Griffee of Louisville and Deanna Marlin of Evansville; three grandchildren, Nia Willett, Ashton Chandler, and Blake Denton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. David Clifford officiating. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to New Hope Animal Rescue.
