Michael Neal Tolbert

Michael Neal Tolbert, 69, of Paducah, KY, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.

He was born in Benton, KY on April 28, 1954 to the late Marion Neal and Elizabeth (Gatlin) Tolbert.

Michael retired from the Kentucky State Penitentiary as a correctional officer and was a member of both Pleasant Valley Baptist and Benton First Baptist churches.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Jeremy Tolbert and Mark Tolbert and grandson, Eric Matthew Tolbert.

Survivors include his son, Matthew Tolbert; grandchildren, Isaac, Lindsay, Hannah, Ethan, Madison, Kaitlyn, Justin, and Gracie; brother, Ronald Tolbert; aunts, June Leneave and Joan King.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 26 at Benton Cemetery in Benton, KY with Bro. Jack Kee officiating.
