Mildred Kirkwood

Mildred Willis Kirkwood age 90 of Dalton, KY formerly of Earlington, KY, passed away at 3:10 P.M. Sunday November 29, 2009 at Brighton Cornerstone in Madisonville, KY. She was born March 28, 1919 in Nortonville, Ky to Ben and Jessie White Pryor. She was of the Pentecostal faith and worked as a custodian for the Hopkins County School System and at several restaurants. She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Franklin Willis in 1964. She is survived by her son Louis Taylor Willis and his wife Valerie of Dalton, Ky, her brother Paul Pryor of Indianapolis, IN, two grand-daughters Ginger Willis and Jenna Willis both of Mortons Gap, KY, step-grandchildren Jeff Cobb of Dalton, KY, and Jeannie Moran of Morganfield, Ky, and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday December 2, 2009, at Reid-Walters Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Rutherford officiating. Her burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington, KY. Her visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the service time Wednesday December 2, 2009 at the funeral home. Her pallbearers will be Louis Willis, Jeff Cobb, Dan Smith, George Young, Benny Pryor, and Norman Manasco.
