Mildred Marie Scott

Mildred Marie (Brown) Scott, 83 of Slaughters, KY passed away on March 1, 2017 at her daughter's residence. She was born in Butler County, KY on March 5, 1933 to the late Walter Cager Brown and Artie Mae Turner Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of Greater Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Madisonville, KY. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bethel Scott, Jr and six brothers. She is survived by her children; Gerald (Patty) McConnell of Sebree, KY Tommy McConnell of Sebree, KY Patricia McConnell of Slaughters, KY Darrell (Cindy) McConnell of Slaughters, KY Stevie McConnell of Corydon, KY Doyle (Becky) McConnell of Slaughters, KY Billy (Joyce) McConnell of Dixon, KY Slade (Madison) McConnell of Dixon, KY Melissa McConnell of Slaughers, KY She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree. Bishop Ron Hendricks will officiate. Burial will be in Onton Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 11-1 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Derek McConnell, Chris McConnell, Slade McConnell, Colton McConnell, Jason McConnell, Wesley McConnell, and Joe Riley.
