Minnie Louise Osmon

Minnie Louise Osmon, 79, of Henderson passed away Tuesday January 3, 2023 at her home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.

She was born in Henderson on April 22, 1943. Louise was a foster parent to many kids throughout the years and a Kentucky Colonel. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed sewing.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents James and Edith (Durbin) Fambrough, her first husband Edward Workins, second husband Tom Osmon, three brothers David Fambrough, Otis Ray Fambrough, James Wayne Fambrough; three sisters Lena Rutledge, Cora Jane Fambrough and Christy Fambrough.

Survivors include nine children Edward Workins (Ina) of Mt. Vernon, IN, Donald “Donnie” Workins (Tania), James “Jay” Workins (Brandie Workins), Robin Bailey, Brian Osmon (Samantha) all of Henderson, Ava Osmon (Josh) of Newburgh, IN, Kelsey Brantley (James) of Henderson, Katie Osmon of Henderson, Duane Osmon (Cynthia) of Bakersfield, CA; four siblings Jeanette Davis, Carolyn Gish, Kim Smithhart, Darlene Davis; 22 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.

Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
