Molly E. Trainer “The Cake Lady”. 73, passed away at 6:40 AM Monday May 4, 2015 at her residence. She was born November 1, 1941, in Shinnston, West Virginia to Rex Roy and Molly Geraldine (Crane) Davis. She was a retired Nurse and retired cake decorator. She was also a member of Union Hill General Baptist Church in Little Dixie, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Robert L. Kenner, her second husband Bill Gay, and her third husband Thomas Trainer, She is survived by her children: Robert L. Gay, Sr. of Little Dixie, KY, Paul E. Gay of Rockford, IL, Jeri Gay Givens of Little Dixie, KY, Lloyd W. Davis of Little Dixie, KY, and step-daughter Louise Shiflett of Oakland, Maryland, and 1 brother: Roy Eugene Davis of West Virginia, 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday May 7, 2015 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson with Rev. Roy Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Corydon Cemetery in Corydon, KY. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 PM Wednesday May 6, 2015 and 10:00 AM-2:00PM Thursday May 7, 2015 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Robert L. Gay, Jr., Travis J. Gay, Brian S. Duncan, Dennis Williams, Tony Gaines, and Timmy Givens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Tree at Lucy Smith King Care Center.
