Morris Edward Smith

Morris Edward Smith, 73, of Sebree, formerly of Grape Ridge, Kentucky, passed away Friday September 24, 2021 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.  He was born in Grape Ridge, Kentucky on August 4, 1948 to the late Effie Mae (Wilson) and Clate Smith, Sr.  Morris loved music was a great guitar player.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and playing games like horseshoes and washers.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 sister Thelma Lee Springfield; 4 brothers Bobby Gene Smith, James E. Smith, Clate Smith, Jr and Carl Smith.  Survivors include 3 sisters Mary Jo Hayes, Wilma Smith, Esther Springfield all of Sebree; several nieces and nephews.  Per the family's request, services will be private due to COVID.  Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel is handling arrangements.
