Myrna Kaye Smithhart

Myrna Kaye Smithhart, 65, of Henderson passed away Tuesday March 18, 2014 at 11:30 AM at St. Anthony’s Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center. She was born in Henderson on October 18, 1948 to Paul and Gladys (Purcell) Redmon. She was retired from Whirlpool and was a member of Advance Baptist Church in Baskett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 brother Paul Redmon Jr. She is survived by 2 children: Tammy Smithhart Newton and fiancé Marshall Peters of Henderson Kevin Smithhart and wife Stephanie of Zion 2 Sisters: Pauline Norman and husband Hayden of Baskett Henrietta Unser of Henderson 3 Grandchildren: Collin Newton, Brea Newton and Kaylee Smithhart all of Henderson Nieces and Nephews Memorial services will be held 3:00 PM Friday March 21, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. Bob Whitter will officiate. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. The burial will be private. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
