Myrtle Jeanette Carlstrom

Myrtle Jeanette (Meeks) Carlstrom, 84, of Newburgh, Indiana passed away Sunday May 1, 2016 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh. She was the daughter of Brynie and Ethel Meeks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Sisters: Katherine Wilson, Hazel Eblen, Brenda Meeks, 5 brothers: Orland Meeks, Herbert Meeks, Floyd Meeks, Alvis Meeks, Melvin Meeks, Daughter-in-law: Karen Carlstrom Vandenburgh. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Victor Carlstrom, 2 sons: Bryan Carlstrom of Newburgh and Steve Carlstrom of Salt Lake City, Utah, 2 Sisters: Virginia Seaton of Evansville and Joan Spencer of Niagra, Kentucky, 2 brothers: Harold Meeks and Bobby Meeks both of Newburgh, Indiana, 3 grandchildren: Cole Carlstrom and Jack Carlstrom of Salt Lake City and Bryanna Carlstrom of Denver, Colorado and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday May 7, 2016 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with Bro. Bret Eblen officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Niagra. Visitation will be Saturday 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mark Watson, Bruce Cline, Bart Eblen, Jon Paul Eblen, Jacob Eblen and Bill Eblen.
