Nancy Laverne Turner

Nancy Laverne Turner, 87, of Henderson, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026 at Deaconess Henderson.

She was born in Uniontown, KY, on September 25, 1938, to the late Ellis and Oma (Bennett) Turner.

Nancy worked at Dixon’s Appliance and Furniture and volunteered at Pleasant Pointe. She was a member of Finley Baptist Church in Henderson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond (Bobbie) Turner and Albert Turner; sister, Elva (Richard) Shockley; and brother-in-law, John Gough.

Nancy is survived by her sisters, Joyce Dixon of Henderson, Dorris Knott of Uniontown, and ImaJean Gough of Morganfield; sister-in-law, Betty Turner of Morganfield; nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 10 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Jeff Burke officiating.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, January 10, from 12 p.m. until the funeral time.
