Nancy Lynn Williams

Nancy Lynn (Tompkins) Williams, 63, of Henderson went to her heavenly home early Wednesday morning. Nancy was born in Evansville, Indiana to Alice Tompkins and the late CB Tompkins on April 13, 1953. For the last 12 years Nancy had worked at Walts Drive-a-way as a safety director and recruiter. In addition to her full time job, she was the main caregiver of her late husband and her mother. She loved her family, friends, pets and God. For the past 9 months, Nancy was leaning on her father God while going through chemotherapy to treat cancer. Up until the past month she had done well with minimal side effects. Her time on this earth has ended, but the eternity she has inherited is far greater than we can fathom. Weve lost our loved one on this side and its painful. Imagining the peace that she is now experiencing makes it well worth the loss. Nancy was preceded in death by her father CB Tompkins in 1992 and her husband of almost 30 years, Lenny Williams in 2014. Nancy is survived by her mother, Alice Tompkins, sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Don Turner all of Henderson, her niece and nephew, Jill and Zach Powers of Evansville, great-nephew, Lincoln Powers and her baby girl, Rosebud, the puggle. Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday July 16, 2016 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Pastor Ron Austin will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson. Visitation will be Saturday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
