Nina J. Burton

Nina J. (Smith) Burton, 94 of Dixon, KY passed away Thursday May 9, 2019 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville, KY. She was born on April 4, 1925 in Glasgow, KY to the late Harmi and Madrid (Berry) Smith. Nina was a homemaker and of the General Baptist Faith.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Henry Allen Burton, 2 sisters; Norma Smith Klutey and Betty Smith King and 4 brothers; Robert Smith, Merrel Smith, Charles Smith and Maxie Smith. She is survived by 3 children; Donald  Burton and wife Marilyn of Lexington, KY , Patricia Burton of Grays Lake, and  Cathi Blankenship of Dixon, KY. Grandchildren;  Morgan Burton, Julia Reckner and husband Justin, Brittani Blankenship, Wiley Posner and wife Nikki.     Great grandchild; Lukas Reckner  Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday May 13, 2019 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel.  Burial will follow in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 until 5:00 and Monday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Tim Stull, Eddie King, Morgan Burton, Wiley Posner, Roy Pullman and Donald Burton. Honorary pallbearers will be John Stull and David Melton.
