Nina Jo (Jones) Qualls, 99 of Slaughters, KY passed away on Sunday July 20, 2025 at Shemwell Nursing Home in Providence, KY.
She was born in Beech Grove, McLean County, KY on August 11, 1925 to the late Morgan and Elsie Jones.
Nina Jo was of the Methodist faith. She taught Sunday School class at Groves Chapel Methodist Church and was a youth leader, served as secretary and treasurer of the church and Sunday School. She member of First United Methodist Church in Madisonville, KY. Nina Jo loved God and her family. She was a Kentucky Colonel, Rosie Riveter, loved antiquing and decorating for Christmas, having a Christmas tree in every room. She had worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Madisonville after 20 years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Hylan Qualls, one sister; Mary C. Odom, 3 brothers; Louis, Frank and Luther Jones .
Nina Jo is survived by her Son; Gary Qualls and his wife Linda of Slaughters, Grandson; Gregg Qualls and his wife Christina and two grandchildren Haleigh and Lexi Qualls. Several beloved Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday July 24, 2025 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree.
Burial will follow in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY.
Visitation will be from 12:00 until service time Thursday at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree, KY.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Woosley, Jonathan Ayer, Daniel Wagner, Jeremiah Wagner, Morgan Jones and Clate Jones.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
