Norma Ruth Nobles, 88 of Henderson, went home to be with The Lord on March 16th, 2017 at the Redbanks Nursing Home in Sebree, KY. She was born on March 11th, 1929 to the Rev. Herbert Hatfield and Harpie (Puckett) Hatfield. She was a devoted Christian who loved The Lord with all her heart, and a member of the Apostolic Bread of Life Church in Henderson, where her step-grandson; Rev. Vernon Rigsby (Donna) serves as Pastor. For many years, she traveled with her family (parents & siblings) on the evangelistic field, as they ministered in word and song. She was very instrumental in playing the guitar and piano, both on the evangelistic field and in the Church (Little Brick-Henderson) were her Dad pastored from 1964 until 1983. Preceding her in death is her parents; the Rev. Herbert and Harpie Hatfield, her husband; L. V. Parrish (1940's) and Vernon A. Nobles (7/15/89-3/7/97), two brothers; James H. Hatfield and Rev. Joseph (Little Joe) Hatfield, and one grandson; Aaron Dale Parrish. She is survived by one son; Bobby Deon Parrish, daughter-in-law; Sue Kurtz, three sisters; Iris (Richard) Hopson of Henderson, Frieda (Jack) Burchfield of Apopka, FL, and Ramona Arlene (John) Stratford of Ellaville, GA, one step-daughter; Brenda Nobles (Gary) Scott of Hot Springs, AR., several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, 2:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Vernon Rigsby officiating. Entombment will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Roger Hopson, Randy Hopson, Chris Stone, Jace Kurtz, Denny Mackey and Andrew Hopson.
