Norma Tapp

Norma (Newton) Tapp, 83, of Sebree passed away Sunday September 20 at her residence. She was born in Webster County on June 23, 1926 to Roy and Stella (Allen) Newton. She was a homemaker, a member of the Church of Christ in Poole, a former 4-H leader, Sunday School Teacher and a bookkeeper for the farm. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister Lucile Cox. She is survived by her husband J. A. Tapp of Sebree,Ky 2 sons: Greg and his wife Kristine Tapp of Sebree, KY Keith Tapp of Sebree, Ky 2 daughters: Cindy and her husband Jerry Brown of Sebree, KY Joann Tapp of Nashville, TN 2 brothers: Allen and his wife Faye Newton of Madisonville, KY Boyd and his wife Ellen Newton of Louisville, KY 1Brother-in-Law Frank Cox of Owensboro, KY 8 grandchildren: Shane and his wife Sheila Brown; Shawn and his wife Sarah Brown; Jeremy Brown, Kelby Tapp; Cassie and her husband Grant Orr; Kaleb Tapp; Jesse and his wife Kellye Tapp, and Katherine and her husband Don Ferguson 5 great-grandchildren several nieces and nephews Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday September 23, 2009 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Bro. Lexie Ray, Bro. Gary Puryear and Bro. Bill Doyle will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, Ky. Pallbearers will be the grand children. Visitation will be Tuesday September 22, 2009 from 3:00-8:00 P.M. and Wednesday September 23, 2009 from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
