Norman Edward "Chip" Dickerson Jr.

Norman Edward “Chip” Dickerson, Jr, 63 of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Saturday June 20, 2026, at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville surrounded by family.

He was born in Henderson, KY on March 30, 1963, to the late Norman Edward and Erma Sue (Hicks) Dickerson, Sr.

Chip was raised in Onton, KY before moving to Fl. He retired in Blueridge GA in 2024 before moving back to KY. He enjoyed anything outdoors, including the beach, boating and hunting, and was an avid UK fan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his 7 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Chip is survived by three children; Amber (Josh) Hamilton of Madisonville, KY, Brittany (Austin) Stewart of Charlotte, NC and Matthew (Anna) Dickerson of Kansas City, KS. One sister Lisa (Dave) Bruce of Dawson Springs, KY and 7 grandchildren; Karlie, Paisley, Kyler, Oaklee, Kingston, Kayjay and Baker, also survived by his 2 nieces.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
