Norman Lee Edwards

Norman Lee Edwards was born February 10, 1940 in Henderson county, Ky.


He lived his whole life in the Robards area. Norman started his career right out of high school at Busby’s body shop for five years. He worked at Don Maharan for eight years and then his own shop for 35 years in Robards. Norman loved to go fishing, camping, and barbecue. He loved a good project to work on or help someone out with theirs, he liked to garden and watch things grow. He restored several antique cars and trucks. He also enjoyed the car cruises and the Frog Follies. He was a Kentucky Colonel.


Norman is preceded in death by his father, Lockett Edwards and mother, Golda Mae Walker Edwards; two brothers, Walker Eugene Edwards, Gordon Gale Edwards; two sisters, Beverly Goldsberry and Geraldine Floyd.


He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bonnie Waddle Edwards; two sons, Daniel (Danny) Wayne Edwards (Maria), Ritchie Alan Edwards (Christi); three grandsons, William Lee Edwards, Alexander Jay Edwards, and John Daniel Edwards, and one sister, Valerie Mattingly.


Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Springdale Cemetery at 12 P.M. Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements.
