Norris Jackson White

Norris Jackson White of Niagara, in Henderson Co, KY, was born August 2, 1942, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023. He was an Army Veteran. He retired from Big Rivers after many years. He also was hard at work on the family farm when he wasn’t at Big Rivers. After retirement he drove the school bus for Henderson Co.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Carolyn White of Robards, KY; his wife, Brenda Robards White; sister, Kathy Givens of Robards, KY.

Survivors include his 3 children, Jason White and wife Kendra, of Cadiz, KY, Elizabeth “Beth” Sanders and husband Josh of Minot AFB, ND, Neil White and wife Becky, of Columbus, OH; 11 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Norris was a loving and gentle spirited man who love the Lord, and adored his family. He was an exceptionally devoted grandfather, he loved his grandkids more than anything. He never met a stranger, and you could hear his infectious laughter from miles away. He was generous with his time, and always willing to lend a helping hand. He was the true definition of a selfless, kindhearted man. Norris will be missed greatly by all that knew him.

Graveside services will be held at Pleasant Valley Christian Church at 5 pm on August 27, 2023. Bro. Matt Sutman will officiate. Burial will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Robards, KY.
