Ollie Thomas "Tommy" Bryant

Ollie Thomas “Tommy” Bryant, 72 of Henderson passed away September 26, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital.  Ollie was born in Daviess County Kentucky on August 13, 1946 to the late Ollie and Helen (Purcell) Bryant. He had worked for over 30 years at Palmer Oil Company/ Ollies Zephyr and in later years Adam Street Development / Preston Companies. He was a soulmate to his wife of 51 years.  Ollie was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, a man of his word and the most kind hearted, caring man who was loved by all. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister; Sandra O’Nan. Ollie is survived by his wife; Kay Bryant; two daughters; Kari Tigue (Eddy) and Kendra Thatcher (Jason) all of Henderson; one Brother; Daryl Bryant (Barbara) of Henderson; two sisters; Sue Austin of Tampa, Florida and Penny Ericksen (Wayne) of Destin, Florida; grandchildren; Megan Tigue of Rockville, MD, Rachel Tigue of Cincinnati, OH, Isaac Thatcher of Henderson, Bryant Tigue of Daytona Beach, FL and  Nicholas “Nick” Thatcher of Henderson. Services will be 1:00 PM, Monday October 1, 2018   at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Brother Rick O’Daniel will be officiating.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1PM-8 PM, Sunday, September 30, 2018 and on Monday, 10 AM until service time. Pallbearers will be Bill Denton, Stan Glenn, Curt Sanders, Mike Ivy, Dennis Box and Roger Thomas. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to New Hope Rescue or St. Anthony’s Lucy Smith King Care Center.
