Opal Jean Chamberlain 87, went home to be with her lord and Savior on Febuary 5, 2015 at 8:47 A.M. She was surrounded by her family and angels. She was born on October 3, 1927 to Erman and Katie Gish and lived most of her life in Henderson where she would tell you was the best place on earth. During the last few days she talked to her many loved ones that have already gone ahead of her to Heaven. They included her Mother and Dad, her brother, Sonny Gish, her sisters Joyce Burris and Barbara Campbell and her grandson Jace Bugg. She was so excited to see Jesus and all of them. She was of the Baptist faith and attended many different churches throughout her lifetime. She loved the Lord with all her heart and told him repeatedly as we prayed with her. She sold Avon for 43 years and many people know her as the “ Avon Lady” She was a member of the Presidents Club for over 20 years. She was most recently just known as “Maw”. That’s what she wanted to be called when she had Grandchildren and ended up being called that by most all of our family and even her grandchildrens and great- grandchildrens friends. She taught us through our Lord how to love unconditionally and we know she will still be guiding us from Heaven. She was under Hospice care for the past month and we are so grateful for the care and love they provided. We feel so blessed to have had their help. Survivors include her very special friend of 22 years Sonny Edens, her son Louis Chamberlain, her daughter Patti Bugg and her husband Jim. Her Grandchildren, Todd Chamberlain, Amy C urry, Tara Farley and there spouses and Jace’s widow, Misty Bugg, step grandchildren Chris Bugg, Jason Bugg, Beth Watson, and there spouses and her Great grandchildren, Darian, Mya and Noah Curry, Bratcher and Payton Chamberlain and cambron and Evan Farley. Step great grandchildren Cameron and Addison Watson and Tristan And Avery Bugg. Several Nieces and Nephews. Her life Celebration services will be held at Saturday Febuary 21 at the Fathers House Church (formerly old orchard Cinema) Pastor Lisa Bourland will officiate.
