Patricia Harman (Griffith) Fuqua, 73, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025 at Homeplace of Henderson.
She was born in Welch, WV on June 8, 1951 to the late Harold and Wilimena “Billie” (Pflaum) Griffith.
Patricia worked as a speech therapist for the Beaufort County School District in South Carolina and was a faithful member of the Methodist church. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from West Virginia University, where she also received her master’s in speech therapy. Patricia had a deep love for the beach and enjoyed reading, cooking, and listening to music. She found joy in solving puzzles, taking walks, and spending time tending to her yard. Patricia was also a passionate advocate for breast cancer awareness.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Kenneth Harman and sister, Sharon Flow.
Survivors include her children, Robert Harman of Huntington, WV and Kara Harman (Brian Thompson) of Owensboro; and grandson, Jack Thompson.
No services are scheduled at this time. Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson is handling arrangements.
