Patsy Lorine Skaggs

Patsy Lorine (Carter) Skaggs, 60 of Henderson passed away Saturday January 11, 2014 at 3:17 AM at St. Anthony’s Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center. She was born in Henderson of December 3, 1953 to Manuel and Patsy (McGuire) Carter. Patsy was a homemaker and a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church in Spottsville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Edgar Carter. She is survived by her husband of 44 years Matthew Skaggs 3 Children: Kelly Johnson and husband Bob of Newburgh, IN Joey Skaggs and wife Sabine of Vilseck, Germany Clay Skaggs and wife Becka of Henderson 5 Brothers: Sam Carter and wife Gerty Ray Carter and wife Della William Carter and wife Toni Joe Ben Carter Jackie Carter and wife Linda 7 Sisters: Marie Carlisle Ann Jones Ella Mae Brown Peggy Matthews Barbara Sanders Cathy Whiffen and husband Tom Nancy Edelen and husband Bobby 6 Grandchildren Several Nieces and Nephews Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday January 12, 2014 at Beals Pentecostal Church in Beals, Kentucky. Bro. Barry Skaggs will officiate. There will be no visitation prior to the service. There will be a celebration of life in August for Patsy. Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel is handling arrangements.
