Pattie Hays

Pattie Hays, 96 of Henderson, KY passed away at 1:20 AM Wednesday January 7, 2015 at Redbanks Nursing Home in Henderson. She was born in Henderson County, KY on June 08, 1918 to the late James and Fannie (Byrd) Smith. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Lawndale Baptist Church. Pattie loved spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband William F. Sandefur who passed away in 1962, 2nd husband Garlon Hays who passed away in 1990, step-son Albert O. Sandefur who passed away in 2013, great granddaughter Anna Grace Galyon, great grandson Noah Christopher Thompson, one brother James Sandefur, two sisters; Laura Evelyn Blanford and Sue Martin. She is survived by 3 children: William A. Sandefur and his wife Sharon of Kansas City, MO Marrianna Young and her husband Ray of Henderson Margie Sandefur of Henderson 2 step-sons: Bobby Joe Sandefur and his wife Kelly of Texas Tommy Hays of Henderson 1 step-daughter: Linda Scott and husband Kenny of AZ Many Grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Pastor Orbley Ramsey will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 PM Thursday and 9:00 AM until service time Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Damon Hess, David Shemwell, David Glassco, Leon Hicks, Donnie Bentley and Buddy Wint.
