Patty "Mammy" Lou Basham

January 20, 1938 — May 24, 2023

Patty Lou “Mammy” (McGuire) Basham, 85 of Corydon passed away May 24, 2023, at Redbanks Colonial Terrace in Sebree.

She was born on January 20. 1938 in Reed, KY to the late Joseph and Ruby McGuire.

Patty retired from Period Furniture and was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed sewing and quilting and loved to go camping.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by two sisters, Mary Ward and Lois York.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Clyde Basham; five sons, Doug Basham (Candi), Wayne Basham (Sheila), Richard Basham (Sheila), Dwight Basham (Becky) and Brian Basham (Cheryl); one brother, Joseph McGuire, Jr.; one sister, Laura Lee Trego; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM-8:00 PM, Friday and 9:00 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Bro. Allen Butler will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Doug Basham, Wayne Basham, Richard Basham, Dwight Basham, Brian Basham and Joe Bentley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Nicholas Basham, Brison Brasham and Chad Basham.
