Paul Franklin Bowley

Paul Franklin Bowley, 82, of Robards passed away Saturday August 23, 2014 at 3:05 PM at Redbanks Nursing Home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. He was born in Waverly, KY to Luther and Hazel (Givens) Bowley on November 24, 1931. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of the American Legion Post 200 in Louisville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Ann Bowley, grandson Tim Darnell and son Steve Bowley, 3 brothers Tom Ed Bowley, J.D. Bowley, Marvin Bowley, 2 sisters Ruth Ann Gibson and Lillian Frances Bowley. Survivors include 2 daughters: Cindy Schneider and husband Butch of Robards Pam Titzer and husband Paul of Henderson 3 Sisters: Dottye Bird Rose Thurby both of Kansas Theresa Mt. Pleasant of New York 1 Brother: Donnie Fowler of Henderson 3 Grandchildren: Todd Bowley and wife Nickie Jake Bowley and wife Lindsay Courtney Welte and husband Jesse Great-grandchildren: Alex and Kaitlyn Bowley, Morgan Bowley and Bracken Welte Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday August 27, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Bro. Richard Nollmann will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery with military rites conducted by the American Legion Post 40 Honor Guard. Visitation will be Tuesday 4:30PM-8PM and Wednesday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Todd Bowley, Jacob Bowley, Jesse Welte, Jeff Marlin and Perry Bowley. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
