Paul Elmer Cravens

Paul Elmer Cravens, 90 of Henderson passed away Wednesday June 25, 2014 at 9:10 AM at his residence under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. He retired in 1984 from Southwire Aluminum, a member of Spottsville Baptist Church and American Legion Worsham Post 40. He was also a US Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents Truman and Ruth (Conley) Cravens and wife Doris Cravens. Survivors include 2 children: Lois Utley of Henderson Sandra Crippen of Millersport, OH 1 Brother: Reuben Cravens of Arkansas 3 Grandchildren 7 Great-grandchildren 1 Great-great-grandchild Nieces and Nephews Services will be 11:00 AM Friday June 27, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. Hal Branson will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Reed with military rites conducted by the American Legion Worsham Post 40 Honor Guard and Burial Detail. Visitation will be Friday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Terry Pruitt, Scott Samples, Micah Utley, Aron Pruitt, Chris Pruitt and Logan Pruitt. Honorary Pallbearers will be the 3 great-grandchildren. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Riverview School or St. Anthony’s Hospice.
