Paul Peter Gelep, 91, of Henderson, formerly of Thomasville, Chapmansboro, TN passed away October 29, 2021 at his home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. He was born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts to the late Constantine and Helen (Kokolias) Gelep on September 1, 1930. Paul was a United States Marine Corps Veteran serving during the Korean conflict and was a member of Kol Dodi Messianic Congregation in Nashville, TN. Survivors include his wife of 54 years Joane S. Gelep; 3 children Susan Smith (Michael), Betsy Ray (Keith), Constance Beck (Richard); 1 sister Betsy O’Connell (Kenneth) of Fitchburg, MA; 6 grandchildren Jordan Gelep, Amanda Littlepage, Nikolas Vierkant, Aaron Golday, Emily Hasty, Lawton Vierkant; 5 great-grandchildren Sophie Golday, Chandler Littlepage, Parker Littlepage, Brinnley Hasty and Coraline Gelep. Visitation will be Thursday 11AM-12PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Jordan Gelep, Nikolas Vierkant, Lawton Vierkant, Aaron Golday, Matt Littlepage, Phillip Hasty, Keith Ray and Mike Smith.
