Henderson, KY native, Paul Edward Snider, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on February 3, 2024 at the age of 71.
Ever the adventure seeker, Paul was an accomplished motocross racer in his early years, and later in life he could be found most weekends at the track enjoying his other great passion in drag racing. An avid outdoorsman, Paul enjoyed hunting and fishing throughout his life, and instilled a deep appreciation for nature in all of his children. Much like his hobbies, his choice in professions reflected his adventurous spirit where he served as a lumberjack for a time, ultimately retiring as a coal miner after 27 years. Paul enjoyed spending his retired years fishing and in the company of his many close friends, playing cards and telling stories.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Dorthy Snider and sister, Carrie A. Snider.
He is survived by his sons, Carl W. Snider and his wife, Xurek of Polcenigo, Italy, Paul T. Snider and his wife, Senel of Alexandria, VA, Jacob A. Snider and his wife, Tyler of Evansville, IN, Chad Snider of Henderson, KY; daughters, Christy E. Givens and her husband, Scott of Robards, KY, Stephanie J. Stolzy and her partner, Brandon of Evansville, IN, Holly A. Snider and her partner, Galen of Evansville, IN; brother, Anthony “Tony” Snider of Henderson, KY; grandsons, Ryan Flatt, Dylan Snider, Bishop Snider, Kitrick Snider, Gaige Tramil, Azhane Wells and Abram Wells; granddaughters, Kaci Manion and her husband, Logan, Eden Felts and her husband, Timothy, Emma Givens and her fiancée, Jayden Deibler, Ariana Wells, Alyssa Wells and Cora Snider; great-grandchildren, Tucker, Oakley and Kinley Manion, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Paul's Celebration of Life from 10am to 2pm with the memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bryan O’Nan, Butch Hare, Chris Stone, Ricky Nunn, Johnny Nunn, Barry Burton and Ralph Snider.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St Anthony’s Hospice.
