Phillip Scott Gibbs

Phillip Phil Scott Gibbs, 46 of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away on June 2, 2016 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson. He was born in Henderson, Kentucky on October 18, 1969 to the late Arthur Terry Gibbs, Sr. and Patricia Ann Alley McCormick. Phil was a devoted husband, father, and son. He was a friend you could always count on. He was a hard worker, a fisherman, and an avid hunter. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Emily Rushing Gibbs, his son, Issac Gibbs , his mother, Pat McCormick, his Brother, Arthur Terry Gibbs, Jr all of Henderson Kentucky, his grandmother, Helen Paul of Evansville, IN, his mother and father in law, Kenny and Deanne Short of Robards, Kentucky. A memorial service will be on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 6:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson, Kentucky with Pastor Mary Johnson offciating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00-6:00 PM. Burial will be private
